CoFesta Final Presentation 2012

Assalamualaikum & good evening,

I had mentioned in my earlier post about CoFesta Foreign Student Ambassador Organization. After participating in the organization & went to some of their event, finally it was the time for presentation. The presentation was like the final event of the year ; we present our idea on how to improve the CoFesta to make it better in the future. 

So, on 5th of December 2012 (Wednesday), it was time for the presentation. The presentation was divided into 2 sections which were group & solo presentation. There were only 3 groups & 3 persons presented in each category. The presentation took place at the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) of Japan. It was the place that really shocked me. At first, i thought that we gonna present it just to the company staff that is responsible for the CoFesta. But then, we were told that the minister had a great interest to hear our opinion and that's when it involved. I was going to perform in front of the minister! Lol....it was really like 'there's a butterfly in my stomach' but it's not only just a butterfly, the feeling was like there's a dragonfly too.

こんにちは、

コ・フェスタ留学生アンバサダーについて僕の以前のポストで書いていた。この組織を参加して、　いろいろなイベントもできて、いよいよ最後の任務が来た。それは発表のことだ！今年の最後の　任務は；将来コ・フェスタが良くするためにどんな変化ができるのかというような課題を自分の意見で発表する。

12月5日に、いよいよ発表の日が来た。発表は二つの部分に分けて；グループ発表と個人発表 （一人で）。しかも、それぞれのカテゴリは3つチームしかない。発表場所は経済産業省で行った。最初は、僕に言われたことは「コ・フェスタと関係ある会社員に発表する」のに、突然で場所が変わった。日本の経済産業省で発表するなんて、すごくびっくりした。しかも、緊張しすぎた！

経済大臣はこのコ・フェスタの活動に対して気になるので、僕達の発表を聞きたいってというような理由で場所が変わった。うわぁ~

Oh yeah, forgot to tell about the dress i was wearing. Actually, i wore the 'Baju Melayu' all the way from my home to the presentation's place being held. Yeah, there were some eyes that looking at me in a weird way but....who cares?! This is how i want to show my culture to others especially since i'm a foreigner here. ;)  

Anyway, it's all thanks to Ruiz for giving me the idea of wearing Baju Melayu while presenting at the minister. 

家で出発したときから、ずっと「バジュ・メラユ」を着て、電車の中でいくつかの目が僕をこっそり見てた。この「バジュ・メラユ」に誇りがあるので、人々の言うことが気にしない、ずっと進んだ！この「バジュ・メラユ」には、僕のアイデンティティがある。僕のプライド…マレーシア人のプライド！

The 2nd group : TokyoCon also can be called as girls team...Come on girls~

The last group  : CoFesta Arc consists of Eason, me & Edgar

The nervous part was coming; the announcement of the winner. All of a sudden, it was 'CoFesta Arc' name's being called and crowned as the CoFesta Presentation 2012 winner. It was really a shocked & happy news at the same time. In spite of us (CoFesta Arc) winning the presentation, but personally from me, all of us are a winner! Everyone threw a splendid & magnificient idea to improving CoFesta. Everyone, well done! Good job guys  

結果を発表したとき、すごく緊張した。急に、僕達のグループの名前（コ・フェスタアック）を優秀者　として呼ばれた。優秀者になるなんて、僕は本当に思わなかった。僕はこの発表会に参加する　　目的は経験を重ねたいだけです。発表は終わった後、皆の発表内容をよく理解すると、皆がすごくいいアイディアが出来ました。僕にとって、個人的の意見で皆は優秀者です。皆も素晴らしかった！

CoFesta Foreign Student Ambassador; that's what it's being called. I'm really grateful that i had the chance to participate & involved actively (still i can't join all of the events due to other things that need to be done) in this society/organization. I'm so grateful that i know you guys; we work together, we eat together, we perform together....eventhough for only such a short period of time, i really value the moments we had together as a CoFesta. Not to forget to our supervisor that worked really hard for us ; Yonemoto, Ooi & Kinpara. Without you guys, we are nothing. 

Thank you guys for being part of my life. コ・フェスタ最高！

I know it's nothing, but at least i have tried my best with what i have to raise my nation's name. I, a Malaysian has presented at the Japan METI. Plus, with my Baju Melayu. I'm proud of it. Alhamdulillah~

Hope i'll get a better chance to do more deeds throughout my life.
